I have had a poetic vision, unwritten for years, and you wrote it. My vision was of two men walking on a road and coming to a point where they had to choose one of three roads; one through a forest, one over a mountain, and the other along a beach. The first man chose the easy way, the beach. The other chose the mountain. The first man finished the journey, before the day was done, and sat for three days waiting for the other. When the other arrived with cuts and bruises covering him he smiled at the other man, whom wondered why he'd been so foolish. The mountain man smiled and said, "For the last three days, I lived, while you sat waiting for life to come be you on a beach!" Great write!!
The images are brilliant partners for this verse. We live in a victim society. Sadly, some people are very adept at being victims, turning it into an art form and defining themselves as such. Thought provoking.
its actually a very positive way of looking at life... we actually spend half our lives complaining of wat we don hav... never for a moment do we appreciate what a wonderful gift life really is... life's not a race, its a beautiful journey nd we need to slow down nd look around to appreciate its marvel...nice poem.
Wow, a very deep poem! I love it! The meaning here is all true. Sometimes we do takes things for granted and we don't even notice. XD Really great poem, it makes me think. =D
