Smell

Smell is so important..

Have you ever wondered when you "smell the roses" in the spring time?

I guess yes you all do..

Smell is something that is too small to see with eyeball alone..

Our sense of smell is connected really well to our memory

like,the smell of popcorn can remind you of being at the movies

with a friend or the smell of rain reminds you of your partner..

The abilty of humans to perceive odors helps us to enjoy life

Our sense of smell also gives us warning,alerting us from danger signals

such as a gas leak,spoiled food,or a fire.

any loss in sense of smell can have a negative effect on our quality of life.

Smell is often our first response to stimuli.

It alerts us to fire before we see flames.

It makes us recoil before we taste rotten food.

Everybody likes a different smell

like somebody likes to smell perfumes

some like lemons,

some like flowers,

some like chocolates,

some like smell of  petrol

some even likes smelling coffee

some cheese and some cookies..

but the best among  all is

sweet smell of success

Smell is our need

Smell is something incredible

Without it out existence is nearly impossible..

A well written piece and I noticed not one change of font colour - which is a real step forward for your writing.
You've mentioned a couple of excellent points relating smell to other senses too.

It is a terrific piece of writing. I could have gone on reading your observations for longer and was faintly sad when it came to an end. Everyone will have at least one thing you've written about they agree with. Scarrily enough for a coffee adict, petrol is high on my list. Terrific work

I like this because you mention how much smell is realated to enjoyment of life. How we don't really notice but its always there. However I have a very poor sensse of smell, funnyily enuff I can't even smell gas if there's a leak in the room (that happened to me once). Intresting poem
