Smell

Smell is so important..

Have you ever wondered when you "smell the roses" in the spring time?

I guess yes you all do..

Smell is something that is too small to see with eyeball alone..

Our sense of smell is connected really well to our memory

like,the smell of popcorn can remind you of being at the movies

with a friend or the smell of rain reminds you of your partner..

The abilty of humans to perceive odors helps us to enjoy life

Our sense of smell also gives us warning,alerting us from danger signals

such as a gas leak,spoiled food,or a fire.

any loss in sense of smell can have a negative effect on our quality of life.

Smell is often our first response to stimuli.

It alerts us to fire before we see flames.

It makes us recoil before we taste rotten food.

Everybody likes a different smell

like somebody likes to smell perfumes

some like lemons,

some like flowers,

some like chocolates,

some like smell of  petrol

some even likes smelling coffee

some cheese and some cookies..

but the best among  all is

sweet smell of success

Smell is our need

Smell is something incredible

Without it out existence is nearly impossible..

A well written piece and I noticed not one change of font colour - which is a real step forward for your writing.
You've mentioned a couple of excellent points relating smell to other senses too.

firstly, starting with the title.....it was a completely unique one
secondly, the description was very well handled...the most significant part in this piece was the examples,
the most common ones, so that everyone can easily relate....
and thirdly and most essentially, i loved the conclusion, because it very effectively taught the importance of smell in our lives....
something, which i'd also like to clarify here, is that although our olfactory lobe(part of the brain responsible for accessing smell) is evolutionary, not only the oldest, but INTERESTINGLY,the most active part of the human beings today that is even active in unconsciousness..as per the reports of WHO in 1998 published in SR.:)

I really like this poem and it made me think about what life would be like if we didn't have a sense of smell. I can't even imagine it. It seems as though the world could be even a little more dangerous without it. It's definitely something one shouldn't take for granted!

I like the concept of this poem that smell is attached to our memory. You did a good job describing those memorable moments. This line:

bothered me as I find it an unnecessary explanation and connects to nothing else in the poem. Overall, a really good job.

Interesting piece about a sense that often gets neglected. FUN FACT: Do you know that the olfactory system (for smelling) is considered our oldest sensory systems, as the sense of smell used to be the most important, evolutionarily.
