feelings of a tree...

    

I am alive D****t

I give you

 fruit

I give you fragrance

I give you home to live and grow

I give you shelter

I give you shadow

I give you fresh air

I give you different medicines

I give you all I have

Because of me you are alive

You give me suffocation

through pollution

You take my life 

by taking away water

You didn't give me the care I need

You only have the habit of cutting and

making money out of it

You didn't care about me

You only care about yourself

If I'm alive

You are alive

I am the Tree D****t. . .

Very important, and a unique topic. I like how open-minded you were. It almost sounded like an actual tree speaking. And I also liked how emotionally connected you were. Feeling the tree's pain, how it suffers and how we as humans sometimes abuse its importance without a second thought. Very Interesting!!!

I enjoyed this read. It was different.
I have never read a poem on this same topic so well written! It is one of the taboo subjects and has become widely acknowledged. Really makes you think about the environment and notice the things we take for granted. You have put the words together in a good manner and the repetition works wonders.

Wow, said perfectly..as I live in a massive wooded area, I enjoy my forest..except those leaves that fall and we have to rake out of the part of our acres we use as a yard..Only God can make a tree let it live..Kathie

This is a topic most people don't care to tackle, thank you for doing so. Great poem, makes you realize how horrible we have re-payed our beautiful mother nature back for all that she has done for us. We are all children of the Earth and we are sadly, but surely killing our mother. Thank you for sharing.
