Just came to my mind :)

Since the day I met you
You brighten up my life
We talk so less
The silence was so right
We found care 
in each other's eyes

Since the day I met you
My silence is over
My weakness turned into strength
You become by motivation
You take me away 
from my lonely life

Since the day I met you
My day gets over so fast
I love each and every 
moment of my life

Whenever you say 'Hi'
it felt like you touched my heart
and there's nothing left to prove


Since the day I met you
It felt like I already knew you
Your face seems so familiar
all the scars you have
shows the strength of you

Since the day I met you
Sharing is an excuse to be with you
You changed the way I saw the world

there are two basic elements, which i think should always be in a good poem.....firstly the words should hold the power to take the reader to the writers world..and secondly....it should have genuineness...!!
and i found both of these here.....!!
the words as usual are simple ..but eloquent.....and the flow and the concept as a whole is greatly managed...!!
just one simple suggestion...
in the second last stanza
the second line would rhyme much better if it was:
"it felt like i already know you "
and also in the second stanza, i think, it was "my" instead of "by"..!
otherwise practically flawless and a great read and write..!!
and yes, the song was like the icing on the cake..!!

keep writing and rocking...!!
