An Affinity Toward the Infinity

An Affinity Toward the Infinity

A Poem by Akira Namir

I look up into the sky, questioning how far my reach extends. The moon so close that it's light dances across that palm of my hand. Yet it is so far that I will never be able to feel its cold surface. For what is the infinity that we call space, but the affinity towards the unknown. Calling upon Gods that rain down the thunder and angels who rebel against their creator.
All for what, to leave behind a legacy greater than humankind's creation? A story of moments, written for the ages, told for the discovery. A means toward an end. One that we could never begin to comprehend. Reading into what is forever beyond us. Worlds going in and out of existence creating flaws in our universe titled Discord.
