WE'RE THE GUARDIANS

In a world that thrives on labels, You should define yourself before others do. And you should never allow the opinion of others to bully you into accepting the wrong label.

We cultivated rain
in the court of the rainbow.
And we learned the benefits of pain.
It's an opportunity to grow
while we move through life
like the seasoned pro

...in mid tempo.

We manufactured thunder
In the forge of the soul.
And we learned to capture lightning
like veteran hunters.
Our hands are tight on the trigger
'cos we're after bigger games than worms in a hole.

... Yeah, we're into greater stunts than Rambo's.

We're the hurricane intruding into a gathering of Vultures.
They say we're Aryans
exuding arcane vibes from a strange culture.
They sneer and call us guardians

... hating us for our resemblance to
Jim Hawkins from the Benbow.

We're the sound of blackness,
the blight of pirates,
the spirit of whiteness
and the hope of the irate.
We're the real deal

... solid like iron, though we lay no claim to a halo.

This is a very strong poem about who we are as individuals....our thoughts our opinions, etc..should not be swayed by others who have a label on their shirt....we should not be bullied into something we don not believe in....We should not bow to angry pole who fail to tell the truth....we have to abide by our own conscience.....
