I put My pen to paper
and the world is set afire.
The message won't be erased by lucre.
I'll print it boldly on my attire.

I'm cogitating about universes
beyond the furthest galaxies
and wordsmithing my concepts from beyond human fantasies.
I am forging my letters in a furnace... and blazing like a star in metamorphosis.

Paradise was lost to a trick
Heaven will be restored by paradigm shift
Eden was lost through a chick
It will be recovered as a wrapped up gift.

Who pokes fun but Ignoramus?
The Genii know I'm Erasmus.
Reformer I am...in the midst of decay.
Arrogance knows not it's a brand new day.

I am the next Heraclitus
prophesying change as Adventure.
I am sailing with the crew of Columbus,
growing tentacles as we venture.

When they failed in their quest to put us in cages,
they changed their minds and called us sages.
All we did was traverse the dark ages.
Now, time stands still as we turn the next pages.

Like a Daniel
unfolding Divine parchments,
we foresaw the fall of Bethel
and the fallout of divine punishment.

Like John, I've broken the seven seals!
Watch me travel through those heavenly portals
while the bell tolls and thunder peals.
We press on though they scream that we're mere mortals.

Can you believe what we've seen?
Ogres are minning ore
from the stones of fire...and seeking for more!
Pedlers are selling treasures to kin
beyond the theaters of war.

your message is certainly bold!!! Though you do poke fun at different phases of the universe, you write as if you have conquered....and seen so many things fall....you are many people all at once; you speak of the dark ages, as well as Columbus.....you compare yourself to heroes, discoverers; and you have seen many wars... your journey is endless as you bound the galaxy to se the world on fire, but with excellent wordage and enthusiasm.
Warmly, B.

Thank you, my friend
your second stanza reminds me of William Blake's "Child by Tiger" and his lines about "what furnace is they brain"

YOur Columbus part reminds me of how we found lands, broke bread with the Native Americans and grew tentacles that capture them and put them on reservations...

The last part reminds me much of the Civil War and the Carpetbaggers.
We travel, we see, we conquer...and that makes us happy?

a very thought provoking write, Akinlolu.
