Solstice

Solstice

A Poem by akihsna

My heart is drenched in
The monsoon of your eyes
My shoulder would gladly
Be your sunshine rays

                                  Open up! I don't need
                                  No umbrellas, no raincoats.
                                  Let your lakes flood
                                  To water the barren
                                  Earth my heart's been rearing

My veins as green crops
Have felt alive and fresh
To each and every drop
Falling, though they're tears

                                 The wind from my lips
                                 Will gently blow your hair
                                 Like leaves which rustle
                                 When tickled by air.

For you, I'll forever care
