Then & Now.

Then & Now.

A Poem by akihsna

Crimson were her cheeks when he confessed his love
Crimson was her face out of the happiness he gave her
Crimson were her hands when she applied henna
Crimson was her parting when he filled vermillion
Crimson was the dot she wore on his name
Crimson was her body when he made love to her

Purple are her cheeks when he pummels her
Purple is her face which silently endures
Purple are her hands when they are tied
Purple are her feet craving for an escape
Purple are her lips trembling in misery
Purple is her body, weary of all the pain
