A Chapter by Rick

The wind was fiercely blowing as a boy was walking down the streets he was dressed in a black high school uniform so it were obvious he was on his way to school, this boy name was Rick he was average looking yet he had a intimidating aura his emotionless look, red eyes and black short hair made him look even more scary

Rick wasn't paying attention to his surroundings while walking so he bumped into something "ouch what was.... ohhh a girl" he said as the girl was about to fall on her face he reacted quickly, caught her hand held it and pulled her up

'What's this. ...her hand it's so soft and small it seems quite fragile'

Rick let go of her hand and was about to walk away he took a few steps forward but he felt a gentle touch of softness hold his hand again to stop him in his tracks "hey you!...that uniform, we're going to the same school " he heard a small voice and that's when Rick looked back and noticed the girl's appearance her height was 5'4, she had emerald eyes and sulk silver hair she looked really good in the school's uniform in other words her appearance was breath taking

" I'm Lia and you are?" Rick just looked at her and gave no response

"Hey I'm talking to you, what cat got your tongue?"

"Oh I got lost for a second there, I'm Rick"

"I think we should walk together since we going in the same direction"

"sure I don't mind" Rick said to her as then she walked straight to him and then she moved her face close to his face looking directly in his eyes with a gentle smile and her emerald eyes sparkled but Rick didn't react in anyway "shouldn't we be on our way "

"How boring no reaction and your face.... it's somehow familiar " Lia said with a smile

"okay " Rick said in an uninterested tone

"you must be new then, let's save details for later, I think we should run there only five minutes remaining until the first classes starts" she said as she started running Rick waved her

"I think I'll meet you there I'm not athletic"

"Alright suit yourself" Then she started running Rick stood where he was and observed her disappear from his line of sightWow she's fast, the way she is running it's unreal for a normal human Lia arrived at the school's entrance while catching her breath she looked at her left side to her surprise Rick was right next to her "how did you get here so fast"

"I walked here " , Lia stared at him suspiciously the two then entered the oversized gate with only a few seconds away from the first lessons to begin, they walked to the same direction "what class did they allocate you to" Lia asked "Class S1.... where do you think"Rick was cut short by Lia when she clapped her hands In excitement "That's interesting we'll be in the same class let's go I'll show you where it is" she is quite cheerful but something doesn't sit right about this girl They both walked in the empty hall way and reach at the class labelled S1 Lia entered the room first, Rick waited for a few seconds then he knocked on the door and he was told to go in he opened the door and walked in standing in front was a teacher who looked like a teenager she had long black hair, blue eye and was wearing a black suit he walked over to her left side then she started to introduce him to everyone in the classroom in a lazy tone "alright everyone this your new classmate he transferred here from another school overseas his name his Rick so just try to get along, there is a free sit at the back corner go sit down" everyone in class seems to pay little to no attention to Rick but they seem to looking at the teacher very attentively

then one girl stood up, Rick thought to himself 'What...did my presence bore her that much' then she began speaking "Excuse me, please do pardon my insolence for speaking out of terms miss Naga but you never gave the transfer student a opportunity to introduce himself to the class"Ms.Naga gave her a uninterested look then she replied "I suppose since someone is interested in knowing who you are, tell them something about yourself" Rick moved at the centre where everyone could see him properly and he introduced himself to the classroom to looking like is about to freak out "hi everyone my name is Rick,I transferred here from another country, i like to play video games and I hope to get along with everyone in here" from the background a voice of was heard "What a weirdo!" Some of students started laughing

"Alright now.... everyone is satisfied let's proceed Rick you are free to sit down" Rick went to his sit with a grin on his face then he sat down and he noticed on the other corner was where Lia was sitting, the teacher picked up her papers "alright it seems like everyone is present since all the desks are filled so I'm out and do your best so i can get that bonus " the teacher who was in a hurry for unknown reasons left the class then Rick noticed that the classroom wasn't fully filled one person is missing maybe it was just his imagination or was it something else Maybe she just didn't notice or it doesn't matter to her who's in class as rick was looking around he noticed one guy who was sitting right next to Lia his eye colours where different, one eye was red and the other was light blue but within seconds the blues one turned red too but before it completely changed to red there was a little spark of lightning this boy had blonde spiky hair, blue eyes and very nice facial features light skin but slightly darker than everyone in the classs

His eyes....I wonder what how he did he looked to his right only to find a girl starring at him attentively she had but he payed her no attention and just simply looked to the window as the day went by most the school activities concluded and it was time to go everyone was in hall way getting their things and preparing to go home Rick left the classroom with his backpack in hands and started walking as he was walking he noticed the same girl from who was looking at him in class spinning her pen in a unreal, coordinated and fast way that you could even see the air generated by the force that's when felt like he stepped on something as he looked down saw something rock like and was about to pick it up in that very moment of a spit second the girl also threw the pen at a very high speed which the human eyes can not keep up with aiming for head but he moved down to pick up the rock like thing he was able to dodge her pen attack unknowingly "Wow! that's really impressive not a scratch on you" the girl said with a very bright smile

"What are you talking about" Rick said as he straightened himself up but felt a gaze from behind poking into him as he looked back to the suprise of seeing Lia holding the pen the girl named Nana was spinning earlier Lia started walking towards him with a displeased look in her eyes and everyone else in the hall had no idea of what was going all they felt was a strong gush of wind pass by so another of the girls moved and shook Nana " it's windy today we should hurry" this mischievous girl's name is Nana "Yeah you are right, let's go then" Nana said with a smile as she waved at Rick while her and friends walked out Kate glared at the Nana as she was walking, after a few seconds she let out a sigh then she also decided to leave without saying a single word, Rick watched as it all unfolded with a the same emotionless look then he put in his hands pocket and decided to go home

'What the just happened I feel like I missed something but I'm it's nothing important' he wondered

The Sun was about to set it was starting to get dark as Lia was walking down the empty streets of the city, as she noticed the area was deserted not a single person in sight,while walking a couple of men started to apper one by one out of nowhere in front of her and they blocked her path with mischievous smiles on their faces looking very courageous "What a fine evening gentlemen wouldn't you agree"

"yeah and what's a delicate little flower like you doing here all alone, don't you know these streets can be dangerous" one of the men said while laughing he appeared to the leader and he gave off a frightening aura

"Oh my you are such a smooth talker but you wouldn't need to worry there's no danger here, now then I'll be on my way" Lia said with a grin on her face as she started moving towards the leader when she reached close enough the two then made eye contact for few seconds and as the leader was about grab her but something unexpected happened Lia's grin widened the group's leader froze in place, fell on his knees and started to freak out while screaming in pain and terror "What was that please make it stop!" The leader was shaking and screaming as blood started coming out his eyes, ears and mouth when the rest of his comrades looked at Lia and their boss they became so frightened that they were frozen in place "What's wrong clearly you don't need to over react when the fun is only getting started" Lia said with a fiendish look then she raised her hand and snapped her fingers then they rest of men started to burst one by one making a pool of blood The last one finally found enough courage and energy to speak "wait you are suppose to a myth this...this shouldn't be real... please spare me and serve you just please don't kill me!" He pleaded for his life but it had no real effect for Lia only started smilling and she started to walk away from the horrific scene "That was thrilling but I guess I made a mess of things now my dress is all covered in blood, well I better get going

"Rick whose has just arrived home late is now laying down on his bed thinking about all the interesting things he had witnessed during his first day of school "What a day..... certain things took me by suprise but it's good that no one had noticed and I haven't seen anyone who knows of the darkness yet, well it's that I have alot to play with. I better get some rest I wouldn't want to be late for school tomorrow"
