i wrote this approximately 7 months ago then revised it and posted, comment plz

Pain is the game
so many believe the same

but i've just about had it
how this all seems to hit

although the pain
atop my veins

fades fairly quick
this depression sticks

challenging it may be to see the light
i put up a fight

standing firm for her
though my darker emotions still stir
