Scars

This poem is a series of couplets i formed into a poem, :D hope you like

Do you have scars
that still pain you?

Sometimes i can't tell
are mine even gone?

Not much reason dwelling on this
then why do i still stay back hm?

Perhaps because i have a new life here
no time for useless quarreling is there?

Sure i do have scars
no reason to cut.

Not even on my mind actually
why slash more scars into my wounded heart?

Now that i see this
they begin to fade.

ok by holding back, i mean not visiting my father and stepmother i left to live a better life with my mom and stepdad.
