Those yellow walls

Those yellow walls

A Poem by Joicy Christopher

Forgetting smile, bound into a corporate life,
The prime time of my life is spent to strive.
Restless, restless is the internal village which bellows,
Solitude soothes the soul which is sinking in sorrows.
Everywhere there are Impasse blocks,
No one can escape the maze but become corpse.
Memory clouds the present preventing the gaiety.
Terror, terror is the colour yellow,
Creates anxiety for the things which is shallow.
To me- wrapped in, yellow attached was once - O wow!, proud,
But its actually getting bound into the shroud.
Not sure, whether it is a dead end,
Or weather it is all around bend.
