Life's definition

Fun little poem that may just be one for the collection.

It is my, like so many others, mission
To discover life's true definition
'life' may, in fact, be a short word
However, thoughts of a short definition would be absurd
Its meaning is filled with philosophy and theory
Yet, even the foremost intelligent must be weary
For a petite word such as this
May destroy the mind in which sanity exists
Challenge others along with yourself
To grab those scientific books off the shelf
And attempt to solve life's unearthly definition.

Definitely fun! Worth noting that fun/humour most often arises out of such contrasts as, the shortness of the word "life" compared to the (implied) length of any attempt at definition.

There are many conceptual issues that I would be happy to discuss with you, should you so desire.
