Silence without Rest

Silence without Rest

A Poem by TonyJay

Silence without Rest

Four grey walls

A box-like confinement

A prison for the soul

Where did rest go?

When did sleep end?

For rest is not found in a sinful body, nor is sleep

Sleep is forever gone; gone from the driod

Another droid created by the world of silence

Silence without rest.

Yes, I've experienced something very similar, and your words sketch the experience well.
