A Theatre's NightA Poem by TonyJayA play, a cast with a keen sense of originative thought, and a charming plot with incredible setting that situate the mind and arouse the heart. Darkness declines over showing a star-lit sky, which mesmerizes the eyes. But when a lamp on the corner is lit with flames to signals night’s presence, the villagers come out joyfully. With age and beauty, the people come without burden to speak of. And the children are put to bed to dream of better worlds; ones that they, too, may enjoy without a care. Indeed, all come out to see a play; a play with a cast and a plot to put the aged villagers to bed childish dreams of their own. Free-Verse Poem By: AJ Naprstek © 2011 TonyJayAuthor's Note
