Chapter 3: The realizing
A Chapter by Christina
As we neared the place that I met them last night, I began to get dizzy. I slowly stopped and raised my hand to my head. "Damien..I feel wore out all of a sudden..I do not kn-" My legs gave out again, he caught me, picking me up. "You should have stayed home, Elana. God knows what could have happened to you if I left you to walk by yourself." My eyes had already closed, from the fever getting higher. He glanced at her body, moving her hair from her neck. As he moved the hair, he found two puncture wounds on her neck about the size of fangs. "She did lie to me, now she will be damned under some vampires control." He began to walk to his home, carrying her with him. He began to look around as he carried her, as if someone was watching him. His eyes began to turn red as Talon, the vampire that had bitten Elana walked out clapping his hands. "Well, done Damien. You have found my bride to be. I have claimed her as mine as you can see the puncture wounds that will stay with her until she turns completely." His eyes immediately fixed on Talon. "Why her, you knew I had been watching over her. And yet you come and try to take her away. You have many brides stick with them." Talon chuckled lightly "I grow bored of them. This one is full of energy and life, to make me happy and fulfill my needs." Talon snaps as Elana’s body disappeared, reappearing in his own arms and he walks off into the shadows. "Hope you don’t mind, I’ll be taking her with me."
