Moon SpiritA Poem by AiriaanFinding the way home, we should never forget ourselves
As Artemis played the harp
In the night sky, All the feathers Shut their eyes. And a lonely child Kneeling in the storms eye, looked up At the one who never sleeps. ........................... The soul Drawn like a song From an angels violin Shed it's feathers Like leaves from a dying tree, Raining ashes on The sleeping hills In a blink, becoming A blazing ray Of iridescent light With feathers and ashes Trailing behind. So the child returned to the moon An arrow back To the hunters bow. But only the night king saw this. ................................................... © 2017 Airiaan |
