EXPECTATIONS

EXPECTATIONS

A Poem by Aimloce Greyfield
"

Expectations, if not communicated kill motivation

"
Essential waves cranially manufactured
Depicting heart's desires yet not man featured
Biased to the wish, wishing negativity all pictured
Bursting self, self destruction not well figured

Slap me not if not said
It is your vision displayed and my attention paid
Will not guess when the guessing point is fade
Say and say, with time and so expectation is laid

Treat me with kindness and leave me blind
Blind me with treatments and I will stay one of the kind
Toss your vision of me and the truth is left behind
Behind your vision lies the only true mind

Imagine me, imagining your imagination
In your imagination I play self abnegation
Yet while i live me, I only know my obligation
My obligation to your knowledge bursts expectation.

It's true what the first person persona is speaking.I like the way the poetic devices have been used. When you expect a lot and get nothing of it things get messed up.In my own opinion its better to never regret.

Funny how expectations breed behavior
and affect the way we are as humans
