The Night-Lord

The Night-Lord

A Poem by Tweedledee

He sat there,

Hidden under a twilight cloak,

Silent as a bird on the wing,

Dark as the shadows in a wolfs mouth.

He didn't speak,

He almost wasn't there,

He was unnoticable,

Invisible.

He sat there,

Hiding the darkness,

Silencing the birds,

Shadowing the sunshine.

He didn't move,

He almost wasn't there,

He was unnoticable,

Invincible.

He lay there, and made,

A sword made from flowing ink,

A dagger made from roaring flames,

A shield made from twinkling stars.

I sat there

I stood there

i  lay there

And I saw him,

The Lord of the Night with the darkness wrapped in a large handkerchief.
