The Ocean at Dusk

Let your brains at ease reading this one, and feel it.

The Ocean at Dusk

Wind blowing into my hair

Sending it flying off in the air

The sun so shy hiding off the horizon

My feet dipped in soft sand

And the moon says goodbye

Making room for the ocean to shine in the sunlight

Which has yet to arrive

 

I close my eyes and breath

How relaxing and calm

I open my eyes once more and look afar

All I see is an endless ocean 

With waves like mountains

Hugging my thoughts tight

 

I have yet to see the sun’s rays

But I see the it blushing so very red

As it slowly climbs up the other side

It surprises me how some motion in nature

Can make my heart preciously cry

 

I wish to be here for the rest of my life

But the sun will shine again a different day

All I can do is hold on to the memory

And enjoy it while it lasts

 

The sun has given its rays to the earth

And the sand has turned golden smooth

Everything is now fine

I shall leave this heaven

But my heart will forever stay
