THOUGHTS IN A BOX

 

My thoughts I keep safe

I keep them in a box

I always try to keep faith

So my body with liquor I won’t intox

I always look straight ahead, never look back, and keep my feet in my dry socks

 

Sometimes I feel like I’m drowning like flowers in a vase

My vision gets blurry as if someone sprayed me with mace

Sometimes life is so unfair, everyone knows it, so lets cut the chase

I’d rather be in my little zone, thinking and not act like a two face

 

Body over mind, mind over body, is it how I live I wonder?

All I can say is that at times, my head pounds like thunder

Collecting all of my thoughts in a box only makes me stronger

I’ll think twice before making a move

And that I will remember
