Drowning

Drowning

A Poem by Aiden Marie

what am i supposed to do

when im alone at night

with no freinds by my side

to protect me from this fight

i no longer wanna live

i cant even see the light

you tortured my broken soul

watching you leave my sight

im drowning in the ocean

with this perpetual motion

trying to reach the shore

i cant breathe anymore

always hearing hearing your voice

burning in my eyes is the choice

do i swim or do i drown?

sinking sinking down

im drowning in the ocean

with this perpetual motion

reaching for the shore

i cant breathe anymore

i cant even fall asleep

when i do i dream

of all the pretty angels

who just want back their halos

always hearing you voice

burning in my eyes is the choice

do i swim or do i drown?

sinking sinking down

im drowning in the ocean

with this perpetual motion

reaching for the shore

i cant breathe anymore
