We had our victories and glory

But we had nothing that would make us happy

Love the hope and light in this! If only your music had the power to bless the world., to change destinies and dreams. Guess the actual playing of rock in certain places displays the gradual coming of a freedom once adamantly denied. Perhaps that's what you mean. 'Oh yeah, it came along!' :)
