The saddest part of all
is I will never call you mine.
Even though I tried so hard,
I could never win your heart in time.

The saddest part of all
is the love I had for you.
The part that hurt the most
was that you never knew.

The saddest part of all
is i couldn't even say
I didn't know how you felt.
You just turned it all away.

The saddest part of all
is the pain it put us through.
It turned us into strangers,
and there was nothing we could do.

 

The saddest part of all
is the wall between two friends.
There to protect them both
from hurting like that again.
