God is Real

I feel God in my heart
I know that God is real
I know that God is the
Creator of all things
I know that we are
All the children of
God and I know 
That his love and
Grace and mercy
Lies in everything
We tend to have 
This view of God 
As being this angry
Patriarch spitting out
Commandments and
Rules that nobody can
Possibly live by and 
If we do even one
Thing wrong he
Will smite us in 
His anger and 
In his fury but
God is a God of 
Love and peace
He wants to offer
That peace to our
Hearts when life 
Gets rough or 
Help us to grow
And learn in his
Ways so that we
May see better 
And know better
And understand
Just how beautiful
His children really
Are and just how 
Beautiful our mother
Truly is as well
He wants us to 
Call him Father 
Because he really
Does see us as his 
Children and even
When we might 
Stray away from
His light and his
Love he is always 
There to catch us 
With his loving
Arms ready to 
Return us back 
To the everlasting
Flock that we all
Belong to from
The beginning 
To the end of time

Beautiful writing my man, reflects all my beliefs in The Father. I learned from raising my children that my heart loved them unconditionally. From forgiving them of their misdeeds my mind opened to how God had truly forgiven me of my more serious transgressions. God is not only my Creator but a loving parent as well.

Jesus Christ, was crucified, died, and was buried. He descended into hell. On the third day he rose again from the dead. He ascended into heaven and is seated at the right hand of God.

Ten Commandments

If you accidently, something like if you kill in self defense then you are in the clear

If you intentionaly disobey the ten commandments chances you are going to hell.

I appreciate the quote. I think in a lot of ways we don't understand the gravity of our actions and we tend to think of certain things as not being as bad as some of the others and so we let certain things slide but ultimately we have to face our heavenly father and his son but if we receive him he will forgive as well. We are all given those opportunities to turn around and to seek his name and once we do we will begin to see and understand his great love and mercy not only for us but for all of his children and sheep as well. Even the ones that have left the flock and have gone astray.

An uplifting spiritual write. Too many religious leaders tell us that we will burn for our sins. A sin is a sin, of course, but I prefer your view of a loving and forgiving God...it gives us all hope!
