We have to win by attrition
The enemy is strong
But love is stronger
Even as we are bogged
In self doubt

The darkness is 
Overwhelming
Even the most dim of light
Can shine through 
The haze and shine
Through the night
Even as strong
As the enemy is
Even the most 
Smallest light
Can drive away 
The dark

The pain
Our light is a beacon
A beacon in the dark
For all to see
Chasing away the darkness
Chasing away the night
A beacon to all
Combining our hearts
Until the light is so 
Overwhelming
That all can't help
But stop and look
And take notice
