Ice

Ice chills you to the bone

Sucks away life

Sucks away energy

Entropy in action

Moving from one phase to the next

It pushes

It glides

It falls

It pours

It shapes

Creating whole landscapes

With its frozen hardness

Each snowflake is like a little life

Clinging to its existence

Trying to live as it plummets

Plummets ever quicker to the ground

Melting as it shifts from one phase to the next

Snowy life reborn

Moving from one phase to the next

Moving and rolling as it cascades

Fills the landscape with a sense of wonder

And awe at nature's majesty

Pristine glory on display

Every ice crystal

Every snowflake

Unique from any other

Life's random chaotic beauty on display

As it continue to fall till it lives no more

I am glad you could feel that. I wanted to make the elements of the earth have that mystical life to them. There is always life and miracles even in the mundane things we take for granted. Even seeds are little tiny miracles of life if you really start to think about but we often tend not to see the hidden worth or the hidden meaning in things, especially not in nature.
