The fog rolls in Clouding the day Blocking the sun The fog rolls in Until you can't see Anything at all The fog rolls in And blinds your eyes Keeps you from the sun Keeps you from seeing What is right in front of your face Keeps from seeing Anything And everyone And everything Around you Keeps you from seeing The true beauty The truth Keeps you in a haze Clouded from the truth That is right In front of Your face
Nice work. I like the repetitiveness of it, because in a way fog itself is rather repetitive. It's just a thick cloud, ever-present, blocking everything from view.

Yep. And once it clears everything becomes brighter again.
It is true, fog can have this effect when it descends from the heavens. Although, I feel an undercurrent in this poem that goes beyond the physical fog. In a way, I think this poem could be addressing how things get in our way and cause a fog in our life. As you point out, that fog "Keeps you in a haze/Clouded from the truth." And then we can't advance our perception of the world and find deeper enlightenment. I like what you are doing here.
