Fog

Fog

A Poem by Ahmad Cox

The fog rolls in
Clouding the day
Blocking the sun
The fog rolls in
Until you can't see
Anything at all
The fog rolls in
And blinds your eyes
Keeps you from the sun
Keeps you from seeing
What is right in front of your face
Keeps from seeing
Anything
And everyone
And everything
Around you
Keeps you from seeing
The true beauty
The truth
Keeps you in a haze
Clouded from the truth
That is right
In front of
Your face

fogs easily surround us all...it is when the fog has cleared that we better pay attention
what did we make out of our fog-a positive a negative-what is left when the fog clears
thank you for sharing enjoyed

I am glad you could see the deeper picture.
We all have our own fogs. And for some reason, some of us choose to look at the fog's direction. Well done,..wonderful write!

I am glad you could appreciate the message
We all are blind at a point on a point.

Yep. And I don't always know everything and can be in a fog as well
I love how you speak of "Fog" in this poem, how it can be real fog or just a invisible fog to a person their self. Nice one.

Yep. Fog is a very elusive thing.
Fog...hm. Can be many different things here, actual fog or something on a totally different level. Truth be told, for me, I actually like real fog...I like foggy and rainy days for some strange reason.
Anyway, this poem consists of a different meaning. Maybe it's possible something it being decived and chooses not to see, so they're blinded by their own fog. I can relate to that anyway, since it's happened to me. Or maybe you were going along the lines of something like depression, that's sometimes described as a fog or a black hole, the keeps you from seeing the beauty of things.
Maybe some of what i said was close, or I completely got it wrong, but either way, this was a great poem. Well work

Sounds like depression...I can relate. Of course, this is only the first of your pieces I've read, so you very well could be talking about a thick cloud of water droplets suspended in the atmosphere at or near the earth's surface that obscures or restricts visibility...

Simply Great. from the message, imagery and simplicity of the words, it is truly magnificent. The fog, so close to us, reveals nothing to our eyes. To those who are clouded in this fog, This poem will present sympathy for you.

I like the repetition. A beautiful one, must say!
