The brain is an interesting thing
It seems like it carries all of our thoughts
And yet scientists know so little about it
We tend to think of our brains
And our minds
As somehow being
These separate entities
Somehow connected
Yet disconnected
From our bodies
And from each other
But I believe that our minds
Are more interconnected
Then we might think

A very poetic take on something that is predominately scientific. The truth is that we consider the brain and the mind to be separate because in science we can only base research and hypotheses on observable information. The brain is solid, concrete and observable, while the mind is abstract and cannot be observed directly. Therefore science studies the brain and behavior, rather than the mind. I like that you've taken the abstract idea of the mind and made it so concrete.
