The people on the t.v.
Pay a lot of money
To take up airspace
To try and sell their products
And to try and grab our attention
And grab our minds 
Convincing us 
That we need to buy that extra ginsu knife
Or Chia pet
Or else your life surely couldn't be complete
Telling us that we have to live a certain way
Eat a certain way
Love a certain way
Look a certain way
Even feel a certain way
Or else somehow we just aren't good citizens
We just aren't being patriotic enough
If we don't buy into their political slander
And buying into the America dream
That is based on artificial hopes
And artificial dreams

So true Ahmad! Where I live the government is spending millions of dollars on advertizing telling us how great they are yet they spend not a penny to replace delapidated playgrounds for the children. There are words I use to express my anger that I won't use here, but I think you know what I mean.

You forgot pet rocks. I really hate commercials, and I realize everybody has to make a living, but how do they even make it on air? They are either boring or have nothing at all to hold my attention, half the time I have no clue what or who they were...it's all political slander of course, and it works for millions of people because they buy into it, the American dream is a pet rock by the way. Anyone who can sell rocks to the public has made it to the other side of the rainbow, I think that's Venice Beach in Cali. ;-)

I have to admit I saw someone selling those pet rock abominations at Venice Beach one and I just had to shake my head and laugh. Lets just say I have never owned one and probably never will.
