The night can seem dark and cold
There are times when the night
Seems like it can last forever
Engulfing us in its cold embrace
But no matter how long the night might seem
The dawn is never too far away

I believe this to the best metaphor for depression. its dark and cold and lonely but the brighter dawn and love are waiting for us all.

I always somewhat liked the night.

But now, when it holds nothing but pain for me, I no longer enjoy it at all.

But this has given me a bit of hope and is something I tell myself a lot, "The dawn is never too far away"

No problem. Ironically enough just as much as I have very strong solar energies and I love being in the sun like the butterfly and the humming bird are very solar at the same time I have very strong lunar influences like the owl and the wolf so I also love and feel rejuvenated during a nice nighttime walk and by the moon in general. Its the balance between the solar which is masculine and the lunar which is feminine.
