Some people 
Can take a back seat
When it comes to
Their own lives
Sitting in the back
Not really taking any 
Responsibility
Or taking any actions
In their lives
Allowing people to run them
Giving up control of their lives
To everyone else but themselves
Not really knowing
How to take charge
How to take responsibility
For their own lives
And their own actions

A very dreadful thought Ahmad, but well written. Some are content to take a backseat and some are not, and yes, it can even lead to avoiding responsibility. Then again, there are also those who like to drive and avoid responsibility when they get in a crash, but this is not about them. This is very tight and to the point Ahmad, message is loud and clear. Well done!

your poems make me think much about myslef..if I do that, to let another people rule my life? even they can`t but in same time I dont rule it myself enough too...I always love to give , to help another, in one moment I dont realize where I am..maybe I could be lost this way..and I never want to be...very wise poem too!

I used to be someone who let others run my life, but now that I am a mother, I have had to realize that I need to take control of my life to make my daughters life better. There is so much that I really wonder about, but I don't regret what I have done in the past because it's made me realize I needed to take control of my own life before letting my daughter experience the feeling of letting someone else having all the control over who she is and who she might become.

Its amazing how life has a way of using our past experiences and issues to help us understand a little and ultimately teach us about ourselves in the process

I do agree about that. I think there is always way that we can learn even more from out past if we just have the courage to look back and find our errors.

Very true. Some people don't have a clue. Or maybe they are just too immature to accept responsibility or just plain cowardice. Your poem speaks of life and as always, it gives inspiration to others. This is a very thoughtful peace and a good one. Thanks for sharing.
