Mirror

We are a mirror
We are all mirrors
In our own ways
Reflecting gods image
And reflecting gods light
Even as crazy as the world
Has become we all share
That divine light and love
That is inside
Even if people doubt it
Or push it away or ignore it
That divine nature is waiting
Like a spring or well
It springs from a divine source
Spreading through the world
And reflecting through us
And into others
If we start to understand
This simple truth
All other strife would cease
We would stop killing
Or hating or separating
Each other because we would
Understand we are only one reflection
We all share the same spirit 
And the same.source

one of my favorite poems of u, dear Ahmad! I love the idea of mirror, which reflects the soul and light of person! how much this idea is similar to the idea of aura and inner light! its amazing thoughts and true...and well and srping are so connected with the mirror, that`s our another world! keep it clean, like the idea of Plato for the cave...we have to exist in another world...great poem!

Even in the modern world, we have enough resources and intelligence, even money to create world peace. Humans can achieve such great glory, however we envy the money and greed and challenge. So we stick to our ways. And as much as people say religion is evil, maybe it isn't true >.^ This is a write to ponder, I enjoyed reading, thanx Ahmad!

a lot of major organized religions have become faulted and twisted by man but there is still truth to be found if we know where to look. God is love and we are all reflections of each other and of gods love and grace but unfortunately we let the world tell us different and we separate ourselves from each other and that inner knowledge and love that ultimately connects us all

I was trying to write a poem about Mirrors once...its still being worked on. Personally, sometimes mirrors freak me out and I think of the scarest thing possible when it comes to them (I can deal with them during the day, just not during the night...) Anyway, I can deal with mirrors in general ahaha.
But this poem is true, we are all reflections of something, whether it be God's creation (for some peoples opinions) or something else entirely.
I agree that we should stop all this killing and hating in the world, but we are only human...and for some reason violence and things like this come naturally for us. I feel it would be so much better if we all weren't so violent, but...who knows.
This poem is beautiful and speaks the truth. Thank you for sharing!
