Love a different way

I used to seriously wonder
Why it seemed that
There were so many people
Who have relationships
Who are married
Who have just started relationships
Or have been in relationships
For a long time
When it seemed like
Everytime I tried to
Reach out
In a romantic way
It ultimately was in vain
Either they were too far away
Or they would ultimately find someone different
Leaving my hope 
Dashed a little bit more
And even when I would try
To connect with someone close
Ultimately they would just end up being friends
Or it would peeter out before
It even got started
But as I started to ask why
God gave me an answer
You are meant to love a different way
Connecting with the people around me
In loving ways
Showing love and grace
To whoever might need it
Healing and loving
Many loves
As I move on
Learning to love
And to give love
To my friends
The ones I truly love the mos

Beautiful poem. The one will come some day you just have to be patient but its always good to spred love the more love you give the the brighter the light in you shines if you understand what i'm trying to say. Good job i enjoyed this poem.

yay. happiness. finally someone reviewed it. but I am in a good place because of this poem. It has helped me to realize a lot of things and come to a comfortable place where I am focusing less on the physical and sexual and sensual relationships I used to form and starting more loving and healing connections with people.

Yep, and I can tell you have gotten to a similar place with yourself as well. I am a naturally affectionate person and I also do massage therapy and energy healing and I was reiki 1 certified so I tend to feel people through my hands and intimacy. Because of that I would tend to focus more on the physical and sensual aspects of a connection. I still see touch and intimacy as different forms of love and it can ultimately help to draw people close, but I am learning how to connect on deeper and more spiritual and emotional connections that aren't necessarily physical.

and yes i have been there and it sucks, and even do i'm young i understand tons because of what i've been through even do some people might not believe me. That is great its always good to know whats on the inside before you look at the outside i always say.

Which is a good thing. People tend to believe what they hear about themselves or even the things people say in general for face value instead of trusting their own thoughts about it first.

I think that is 95 % of the world's problem. People not questioning the negative things they see right in front of their faces and not questioning the status quo even if it is flawed to begin with.

Lol thank you a lot of people are amazed when they find out i'm 15, but he its always good to know things at a young age so when you get older you don't make the mistake that might just screw you over huh
