We have

The silence
When it comes
To some things
There are some 
Things
In this world
We can't
Be silent about
We have to
Speak out

For the people
Who don't 
Have a voice
Break the silence
For the ones
Who aren't able
To articulate
Their needs
Or articulate
Their pain
The people
In the dark
Who are searching
Searching to find
Themselves
In a world
That seems
So cold
Lonely 
Barren
Devoid 
Of life
Love
Hope
Living 
In darkness
We must speak
Break the silence
For we can't stay
Silent 
Any longer
We have to speak
We can't just stay still

The world 
Needs people
Who are willing

This is really a powerful reminder that here is a time to speak out-when a person's dignity is not valued, or a defenseless person is being victimized...this is the second poem in a row that has spoken to me about this, perhaps I am to be getting a message!!
