We live in the age of technology
Where everything is a quick fix
We get everything instantly
Whether we want it or not
We are bombarded by information
On a daily basis
We often can become overwhelmed
By the senses
And the information
That is being thrown at us
It can be hard
To dissociate from reality
Living in a digital fantasy
Moving farther and farther away
From what is real
We need to be willing
To step away from our technology
Start focusing on what is real
Right in front of our faces
Take time to really see
The actual beauty
That comes from 
Connecting with the earth
In real and whole ways
Connecting with people
In real and whole ways
Once you start to see
Reality for what it is
You will start to see
Just how hollow
Those old fantasies

I believe you represent the voice of thousands of people believing the same !
It's interesting (nice or sad only God knows) to see an evolution:
Pre-romantic poets used to write about the wish of retourning to Nature,
you have just written about the wish of retourning to reality, which is the urban reality, I suppose, the reality pre-romantics tried to escape from but that nowadays doesn't seem so bad, compared to the new product of development, technology.

I have truly enjoyed the message of get of your computer and do something, but I in my honest opinion do not enjoy the way as how you have sent the message, I believe that the lesson you sent this amazing message to weak, as we should all know, that the lesson we send through, our form of writing, we should send in our very best truest form, you as I believe you can, could do better, but in my heart the direct message, as you have sent, was done so, well let my soul say, you sent the message, but not well enough, I bet if you should go over this, you would as known to common believe, improve, please don't take this to harsh, and thanks for sending me a read request

The true meaning of the poem is deeper than just get off your computer and do something. Its a message of change and dissent and hope for a better tomorrow. Its a call to the people in the trenches who are hurting and are still trying to find their way in a hostile world that gets crazier with each moment. And more importantly it is in offer of hope that things will get better if you just hold on. A change is coming. Its just a question of if you are ready or not.
