Two in One

There are two roses that are growing 

Growing vibrant

Strong and bright

Growing on the same bush

They are growing

Intertwined

One you can not remove without harming the other

One is as white as the whitest snow.

It is my spirituality

And inside me it has grown

Nourished and fertilized by spirit

And God

And accepting the healer inside of me

The other rose is red as the deepest blood’

We can not forsake one without the other

It is my sexuality

It burns deep and hot and red

Tantric energy unleashed

That makes me more sensual

Gives me the power to delve deeper into my spirituality

They grow 

And nourish each other as they flourish

You can not forsake one for the other

If you only focus on that base sexual hot energy without the spiritual behind it

It will be empty

It will be wasted

And you won’t truly be able to reach higher heights

You will be stuck absorbed in earthly things

Not really connected to the spirit

But if you only focus on the spiritual

You are forsaking your body

Cutting yourself off from the your greatest power source

And alienating yourself from your base

And ultimately denying the mother energy that flows all around us

You can easily become disconnected from the earth

And any base energy

And find yourself being almost afraid of your body

Afraid of the Earth and nature

Afraid to express yourself and to connect to that healing goddess energy.

And denying yourself from the power that it can bring

But both roses lives inside of me

Flourished and nourished by spirit

By God

And by our loving, caring Mother

So that one can never be removed

Without harming the other.
