The boy who lived 

he's every child's gift

from countries it's love drifts 

a new craze in shift 

harry potter 

now 19 years later 

it only got sadder 

now that it's all over 

but it's love stays 

lasting many decades 

his life showcased 

like a child we raise

I like how you gave the feel of Harry Potter as almost a family member. My daughters loved the movies. We do watch kids grow up in movies and TV and we feel like we know them. We don't, of course. Thank you for sharing the excellent poetry.
