Empty Crowd

Empty Crowd

A Poem by Ahena MK
"

"what are we waiting for?"

"

Empty crowd

Acres and acres of land lay barren

Barren yet filled with loads of people

Dry leaves there lay on the bed

The unfortunate deaths which haven’t yet

Thrives there lies and blind believers

Seeking hope from the destiny makers

Yet no reply comes from the heavens

For, to say lacks there education

The topic was strong and showed knowledge of the world. The last two lines struck me as powerful indeed.

The poem stated in short sentences of many problems. ' I wanted to know more. There will be always excuses for not doing things for the good. Old wise saying. "Must take the first step to begin the healing."
Thank you for sharing the excellent poetry.
