Empty Crowd

Empty Crowd

A Poem by Ahena MK
"

"what are we waiting for?"

"

Empty crowd

Acres and acres of land lay barren

Barren yet filled with loads of people

Dry leaves there lay on the bed

The unfortunate deaths which haven’t yet

Thrives there lies and blind believers

Seeking hope from the destiny makers

Yet no reply comes from the heavens

For, to say lacks there education

Nice poem Ahena... solid message, hidden just enough...
I find hope in the poem, the unfortunate deaths that haven't yet... still time... somehow.

...and there are many different kinds of education. You paint a stark picture, Ahena. Barren and overflowing with potential abundance. Is it the "blind believers" or the "destiny makers" that seem to stand in the way? Perhaps... but, there is also a sense of shared responsibility that goes unmentioned. The remedy is prepared but who will administer the knowledge? What knowledge will be selected? Who will answer these questions, implicit in this work?

100 hope seekers
