The Moment Of Truth

The Moment Of Truth

A Poem by AhEed AbRar

The moment of truth,

we've been waiting for it.
The moment of truth,
we've been changing for it.
The moment of truth,
all said and done.
The moment of truth,
we ain't getting enough.

We hoped for the truth,
but all we got was their mendacity,
which had us all in audacity,
can't you just give us the sooth,
we'll just keep it in our booths,
for the growth of o
ur youth,
which keeps on asking,
they're going to keep a lasting impression,
so that you guys can be under pressure,
to discover and measure the need of leisure,
in the lives of the people who churn and burn,
the priorities of their lives,
 so that they can survive.

The moment of truth,
it's just a big fat lie.
The moment of truth,
they don't care if we even exist.
The moment of truth,
no one can face it when it comes.
The moment of truth,
stand back and let it rip and burn.
