Purgatory - a life worse than hell

Purgatory - a life worse than hell

A Poem by Sparsa Chowdary

A girl's
Joy and sorrow
Lies deep
Deep in the soul

Her innocent heart
Her cute little smile
Are Precious gifts
The world ever have

Filling her with utmost pain
The agony that is eternal
Pounce upon like animals
Can't you see
She's a human!

Torture she bears
The anguish of grief
Aloud She cannot say
Inside she weep
Can't you see
She's a human!

Her soul breaks
She's no more now
Everything has disappeared
Her sound of laughter
To a mere feel of touch
An alive oblivion

Atleast now
Can't you see
She's a human!

Suffering can make our lives a living hell. Or purgatory - which is the lesser evil. There´s so much deep seeded pain in your poem. The verses sound like screams of despair.
