Midnight Goosebumps

Midnight Goosebumps

A Poem by Sparsa Chowdary

Someone is at the door
And I am all alone
It's quite late at night
Even the candles have blown

Again there is an another knock
1 am ticked the clock

Sweating all over my body
Because at the door there was nobody

Slowly I closed the door
Suddenly then rang my phone
I went and answered the call
There was a huge sound from the car

I gathered guts, went to the garage
My foot sensed some bottle of a beverage
At the side there was a gift
As I wondered, my friends came very swift

Lights were on, people all around
With gifts and cake, and wishing aloud-
Sorry for the spooky night
May your future be so bright
Have a wonderful day
We all wish you a happy birthday
