No One Really Cares About Me

No One Really Cares About Me

A Poem by Aguilar

I’ve been hated for many years
I’ve been made to hold my tears
I’ve been treated unfair by life
I’ve been cut by a society’s knife
No one really cares about me
But if Jesus were here and see
He just wouldn’t let this be
Nothing seems to go right
My mind is just filled with fright
What good came from being nice
I just rolled around like a pair of dice
No one really cares about me
But if Jesus were here and see
He just wouldn’t let this be
I’m tired of being a victim of shame
I’m tired of people forgetting my name
I can’t take this anymore
I can’t live on this dirty floor
No one really cares about me
But if Jesus were here and see
He just wouldn’t let this be
