Part Of Your Memory

Part Of Your Memory

A Poem by Aguilar

As the world got colder
I held you on my shoulders
I helped you get bolder
You saw me as a phenomenon
However you are now gone
I've been left behind again
My heart screamed in pain
As I stood in the rain
I'm nothing, but a memory
To me you weren't an accessory
I'm not into that treachery
Once I begin to think straight
I see that I made your days great
I managed to be your special playmate
I became part of your life's story
To me that's simply worth glory
Knowing I'll always be part of your memory
