Echoes

Echoes

A Poem by Ewen A Morrison
"

'Echoes' inspired by Ewen's Son. Also, relates to grandson, Ewen John...poetry expresses so much more!

"

How do you see me now,

Regard me: and just how?

Dad used to be Patriarch:

Our parents set the mark. *

Have grown, and evolving...

You now do your own thing:

Thoughtful son ~ your way,

Considerate to what I say.

Now you're Dad, like me,

This "'apple' echoes tree",

Son's good -- seldom bad;

Who taught you to be Dad?

Lessons learned, not taught:

Wisdom gained when caught!

What example do you follow,

Show today, & do tomorrow?

Your Wisdom is beyond words,

So enjoy what 'apple' affords...

you're what‘s unspeakable:

Certainly Is so very keepable!
