First Daughter

First Daughter

A Poem by Ewen A Morrison
"

We have two daughters, Claire is or first born - one of our two children, and happily, have children, also!

"

W.I.P

The first daughter is our Claire

Girl-blessing, half child pair,

Mothering both joy and laughter,

Keira, HER girl: ~ 'mini-Claire'!

They say: 'first is seldom best',

The theory does come, then goes,

Always best... never 'the-pest',

Claire's name, sweet as Rose!

Daughter's family is adorable;

If "girl's first love is Dad,"

Without that love? deplorable!

For Dad, though... NEVER bad!

Anyway, theories, theory not,

Saying little, relish story;

Always in adoring their 'lot',

Thereafter, enjoy the glory!

Dad x

Beautiful! 'Girl's first love is Dad'...

Yes, this is what they say - Mother-son duo and Father-daughter has a special bonding.

Good words!
